Turn a monthly price into a specific maintenance commitment buyers can understand.

Write the maintenance promise before the price
Consider a fictional weekly customer-research workflow. It turns supplied interview notes into themes, supporting quotes, and unresolved questions. A useful maintenance promise could cover refining the evidence checks, fixing confusing instructions, and adapting the output when common research inputs change. It should not imply that the creator personally analyzes every subscriber’s interviews.
Separate maintenance from services. If you do not provide private consulting, custom integrations, or individual report reviews, do not bundle those expectations into a vague promise of ongoing support. A buyer needs to know which work the instructions help their AI perform and which work you undertake yourself.
Use a planning example, not an earnings forecast
Suppose you consider $9 every 30 days for that research workflow. Record what you will maintain, how buyers can report a problem, and what would make the offer unsuitable. The editor’s suggested $5–$15 monthly range is a starting point for planning; it is not measured demand or evidence that this price will sell.
Compare the alternative honestly. A stable checklist with little maintenance may fit a one-time offer. A free, complete workflow can demonstrate your method. Charging repeatedly makes the maintenance explanation more important; it does not automatically make the underlying instructions more useful.
Set up the offer in the right order
Prepare and save the draft, choose the pricing mode, enter the price, and describe required tools. Finish verified creator payment onboarding before publication. Drafting and review submission can continue while onboarding is incomplete, but an unverified payment account cannot make a new skill live.
Review the approved listing and checkout before promotion. Monthly access is a subscription to that skill, distinct from Skillset Pro’s catalog access and the buyer’s AI-app subscription. Keep the recurring amount visible whenever you repeat the offer outside the marketplace.
Explain changes and cancellations carefully
A new approved release changes instructions available to future loads. Do not promise that editing a listing automatically changes an existing subscriber’s billing agreement. Buyers manage the actual subscription through billing controls and should check its status and dates there.
Track maintenance effort separately from recorded sales. The creator dashboard’s net-sales figure accounts for platform fees and adjustments but is before Whop processing fees; it is not the amount already paid to a bank. Use the Whop portal for provider balances and withdrawals.

Must I publish an update every month?
Do not promise a schedule you cannot sustain. Describe meaningful maintenance and keep that commitment; unnecessary edits are not evidence of value.
Does a subscription run the skill on a schedule?
