This explains what Skillset collects, why, and what we do not do with it.
What we collect
- Your email address, so you can sign in and receive what you buy.
- A record of your purchases: which skills, when, and the licence key issued.
- A sign-in session cookie so you stay logged in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
- Anything you type into a listing if you sell on Skillset.
What we do not collect
We do not receive or store your card number, bank details or billing address. Payment information goes directly to Whop, our payment processor.
Why we hold it
To give you access to what you bought, to send transactional email such as sign-in links and delivery receipts, to support you when you ask, and to keep accurate records of sales.
Transactional email is sent through Resend from our own domain. We do not sell your address or add you to marketing lists without asking.
Who else sees it
Only the services needed to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Whop (payments), Resend (email). Each processes data on our behalf. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept while your account exists and for as long as we are required to keep financial records afterwards. Sign-in links expire in minutes.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Write to hello@buyskillset.com and we will act within a reasonable time. Deleting the account removes access to files bought through it.
Children
Skillset is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
