What access revocation can—and cannot—change
Separate future hosted access from instructions an AI already received.
Quick answer
Revoking an entitlement prevents future retrieval when no other valid access remains. It does not erase instructions already delivered to an AI conversation or copies someone made. Check the access source
A person may have access through a purchase, a subscription, or a trial allowance. Removing one source does not necessarily remove another. When investigating an access question, identify the account, the skill, and the specific purchase or plan involved before assuming the result is wrong.
Distinguish account access from app authorization
Revoking a connected app stops that authorization from requesting new content. It does not by itself refund a purchase. Similarly, a refund does not necessarily disconnect every AI app from the user’s remaining library. The account’s access and the app’s authorization answer different questions.
The MCP authorization specification describes authorization for protected remote resources. That mechanism controls requests to a server; it is not a mechanism for deleting text from a third-party conversation.

Give support enough information
Use the account associated with the checkout and include the skill title, approximate purchase date, and the problem you encountered. Describe whether the issue concerns loading instructions, using a required tool, or the quality of the resulting work. Do not paste your connection key into a support message.
For an unexpected access loss, first verify the signed-in account and current purchase or plan status. If the AI shows an old skill description, ask it to refresh discovery. A cached description is not proof that a new instruction load will be authorized.
Use accurate creator promises
Hosted delivery gives creators a maintained distribution point and current access checks. It does not make the instructions impossible to copy. Describe those controls accurately and use clear licensing terms. A credible response to a buyer’s problem protects a creator’s reputation better than an absolute security claim.
The current refund policy is the place to check the available process and conditions. The platform’s technical behavior and the commercial decision to grant a refund are related, but they are not interchangeable.

Does revocation delete an old chat?
No. Skillset can restrict new retrieval from its server; it cannot promise removal of material already received by another app.
